Good health is achieved through the triad of activities, proper nutrition, adequate activity and a personal relationship with God. All three must be present to achieve health, vitality, and longevity. In today’s world, the food we eat has been devitalized and processed so that it does not have the nutrients that it once had. We, therefore, must supplement our diet with natural antioxidants, vitamins, minerals and trace elements.
We have become more and more sedentary in our lives. We no longer sweat to “eat bread” instead we sit around electromagnetic devices, computers, cell phones, video and satellites players that have changed the amount of radiation we are exposed to on a daily basis.
Many people have removed themselves from God and have lost their spiritual foundation. Everyone’s stress level has increased to the point where anxiety and depression are at an all-time high. Prescription medication for these conditions is a multi-billion dollar industry. People are not cured by taking drugs the symptoms are treated and you may feel better but the doctors have not corrected the underlying conditions.
The ANWAN Wellness Medical Center professionals are integrative in their approach to medicine. We are actually successful in getting many of our patients to change their lifestyle. First, we perform a comprehensive history and physical exam appropriate for age and sex. Second, we perform screens for heart disease, cancer, women menopause, male andropause, hyperlipidemia, respiratory function test and other routine blood tests. Our patients are given a choice between traditional drug therapies, herbal and homeopathic therapy and/or both. We see patients of all ages from newborns to geriatrics.
